Discount Tire Sweepstakes Official Rules
•	No purchase necessary to enter or win.
•	Sweepstakes is open to residents of the United States only.
The Discount Tire Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") commences on May 7th, 2008, and ends at 11:59 PM (PT) on October 11th, 2008. Sweepstakes is sponsored by Discount Tire Co., Inc., 20225 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85255 ("Sponsor").
Eligibility: Sweepstakes is offered only to persons ages 18 and older who are legal residents of the United States for the duration of the Sweepstakes. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
How to Enter: You may enter the Sweepstakes in the following way: visit www.dtcdrifting.com and follow the instructions to enter. Enter the information requested, including your first and last name, address, zip code, and age; you will then be entered in the Sweepstakes. One Sweepstakes submission per person is allowed. In order to be eligible for drawing, entries must be received by the Discount Tire Co., no later than 11:59 PM (PT) on October 11, 2008. All entries become the exclusive property of Discount Tire Co., Inc., and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Prizes: One (1) selected winner of the Discount Tire Sweepstakes will receive the First Prize of $2500 cash. One (1) selected winner of the sweepstakes will win the Second Prize of $1000 cash and one (1) selected winner will win the Third Prize of $500 cash.
Selection of Winners: Winners will be determined by random drawing. The drawing will occur on or before Oct. 25th, 2008. Odds of winning will be determined based on the amount of complete, eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by telephone/email within 15 days of the drawing. Winners will have 15 days from notification to accept the prizes by mail or telephone. Discount Tire Co. Inc., is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful attempts to notify the winners.
Winners may be required to sign and return a release of liability, declaration of eligibility, and, where lawful, a publicity consent agreement, all within 15 days of acknowledged notification. By accepting and/or using prizes, winners agree to the use of their names, voices, and/or likenesses for the purposes of advertising, trade, or promotion for Discount Tire, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to timely claim a prize, or fails to timely return the completed and executed affidavit and releases as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
Conditions:: By entering, each participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Discount Tire Co., Inc., which shall be final. Sponsor, agents, and representatives of Sponsor, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for : (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, or postage-due entries; (ii) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prizes, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prizes, or from participation in the Sweepstakes; or (iii) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes.
By participating in the Sweepstakes, each participant agrees to release and hold Sponsor and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives of Sponsor, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Sweepstakes or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prizes, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
